Marubeni Energy Corporation has a stable management foundation with general trading company Marubeni Corporation and major oil company Showa Shell Sekiyu K.K. as our shareholders.
As one of the largest petroleum marketing companies in Japan, we carry out domestic sales, export, and import of petroleum products.

With a gradual decline in domestic petroleum demand being predicted, large changes are occurring within the industry such as the restructuring of oil companies and the streamlining of sales networks. In addition, environmental issues and the finite nature of oil resources have made the development of new types of energy a pressing issue.

In response to such changes in the industry, we are working to further strengthen the traditional petroleum product business model and also to proactively create new business. In the future, we will fulfill our role as a partner who goes beyond expectations of our customers. We also intend to contribute extensively to society as a stable supplier of energy, mainly focused on petroleum.
